MUSINGS

Ok, we'll cut to the chase. While Hunter's Point is a local gem enjoyed by the many outdoors-inclined residents of Cupertino, it's just not the most exciting hike. In fact, it's bare and dusty most of the year.

However, the peak does offer spectacular sunset or sunrise views of Silicon Valley on a clear day. If you're seeking the perfect vibe, we recommend visiting on a warm summer evening right after sunset. You'll catch yourself thinking, "all shall be well."

Good Eats

We can't resist a bargain meal that's both affordable and authentic. Bento Express offers Taiwanese bentos with big portions and big flavor.

Falafel Stop is another reliable spot. They serve Israeli food with big portions and big flavor. Did we mention we like big portions and big flavor? The only reservation we have is the long waits, even for takeout. We recommend calling in your order ahead of time so that you can secure your big portions and big flavor.
